NAVFAC Washington has commissioned an update to the 2020 NSF Suitland Area Development Plan (ADP) to reflect recent and anticipated changes in mission and personnel impacting the Navy’s physical presence at this site. This selective update will retain accurate existing content while incorporating revised information on facility and infrastructure conditions.
The project involves close coordination with ongoing initiatives at NSF Suitland, particularly in support of the P664 Foreign Materiel Exploitation Lab. These related efforts will inform key analyses required for the ADP update. Additionally, the update will address requirements outlined by the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) and integrate recommendations from the NCPC Executive Director’s Report for the 2020 ADP approval.
Compliance with the latest Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 2-100-01 Installation Master Planning (2022) and ADP Consistency Guide (2023) is required for the applicable sections being updated. No new sections will be developed as part of this effort. An optional Transportation Management Plan update is included within the scope of this task order.
This project ensures that the NSF Suitland ADP remains a relevant and strategic guide for future development.
